Full Description

At NC 1655 4410, at the foot of a W-facing slope, is a hut circle accompanied by a small field system.

The field system is indicated by a scatter of stone clearance heaps and tenuous traces of occasional lynchets; measureable plots are not discernible.
Surveyed at 1:10,000.
Visited by OS (J M) 15 May 1980.

A hut-circle and a group of five cairns was recorded during a pre-afforestation survey of Scourie and Badcall common grazings and are are situated on the west facing slopes of Chreag Gharbh. Five cairns are located on the hill side to the north-east of the hut-circle. The cairns are turf-clad, up to 5 m in diameter and 0.4 m high. <1>
