Full Description

A crofting township at Linsidemore, Strathoykel. It is shown on the OS 1st Edition map as a cluster of buildings at its northwestern end with additional buildings and crofts to the east and a large area of rectilinear fields between the road and the river running further eastwards. <1>

The township would appear to have replaced an older, more nucleated, settlement named 'Liansettbeg' on the Roy Military Survey maps (see MHG64609).
