Full Description
A rapid walk-over archaeological survey was carried out in 1999 by J. Wordsworth as part of the preparation for a planned Community Woodland in Knoydart. <1>
Site 9: 17m NW of the wall junction are the heather covered stone footings of a building 8m by 4.5m surviving to a maximum height of 0.2m. It is aligned NE/SW. There are peat/turf cuttings to the north. This is unlikely to have been a dwelling and is more likely to have been a store. It was shown as unroofed by 1873 but is not marked on the current OS map. <1>
