Full Description
A possible cairn at Doll, Brora. The feature is shown as a circular area of rough ground on the OS 1st Edition map but in vertical aerial photographs it is an oval measuring c.18m x 15m with a distinct edge or kerb, which is also visible in SEPA LiDAR. It may be a natural feature, possibly of glacial origin, subsequently enhanced through field clearance or as the base for a burial cairn. <1> <2> <3>
