Full Description
A possible hut circle and enclosure near Millness. The vague features are visible in vertical aerial photographs, the best being those taken in 2023. The possible hut circle appears consistently as a circular feature, probably an earthwork, c.11.5m in diameter, in aerial photographs also taken in other years but the possible enclosure, which is 'kidney' shaped and abuts the hut circle to the southeast, may be at least partly related to more recent earth moving. <1>
This may be the hut circle as was expected by the recording of a small group of clearance cairns to the southwest (see MHG2761).
