Full Description
Raasay Survey 2000: Site 30c: A roughly boat shaped setting of stones 4.0m long and 1.0m wide. It lies on a raised area surrounded by boggy ground. Its orientation is almost exactly north-south. Stones at the north end of the setting appear to be deliberately set and propped up by other stones to form a prow shape, enhancing the boat shaped appearance of the setting. The feature may be the remains of a prehistoric cairn, notwithstanding the implications of its present appearance as a boat shape. <2>
