Full Description
The farmstead of Achorn. Four buildings (with two to the north on the opposite side of the Achorn Burn) a sheep fold and enclosure are shown on the OS 1st Edition map and are visible in aerial photography. The two buildings at the mian site are still extant, though only the smaller ofthw two retains a full roof. Of the two to the north, the larger appears to have been reduced to rubble foundations with the smaller still extant but unroofed. <1> <2>
