Full Description
A rapid walk-over survey of a proposed Woodland Grant Scheme application at An Torr, Badachro, Gairloch was undertaken by C. Dagg in 1998.
Site 11. Drystone dyke: At the bottom of the tree-covered slope and just within the deer fence which forms the present boundary, the well-preserved dyke runs for about 150m. To the shore then turns SE across the small rocky point to the west of the bay of Camas na h'Eirbhe. Another, ruinous, short length of dyke originally cut across this point a few metres to the south of the first dyke. <1>
