Full Description
An enclosure adjoining the west side of Loch Loyal. It is split in two by the A836 road, the original line of which is shown on the OS 1st edition 6 inch map, though it is not itself shown, suggesting that it predates the road. It is visible in vertical aerial photography and measures c.235m x 227m. Two circular sheepfolds lie in its northeast corner (see MHG33127). There are also suggestions of the remains of rig cultivation, also cut by the road. <1> <2>
