Full Description
A rapid walk-over survey of a proposed Woodland Grant Scheme application at North Applecross, Wester Ross, was undertaken by C. Dagg.
Site no. S3: Cairn: Grave? This may only be a clearance cairn, or the remains of a storage structure, but within an oval of stones, a larger stone seems to have been set upright, offcentre, its axis set along the axis of the oval. The cairn measures 2.2m by 1.65m and is aligned N-S. It is close to a small pebbly beach. <1>
