A rapid walk-over survey of a proposed Woodland Grant Scheme application at North Applecross, Wester Ross, was undertaken by C. Dagg in 1999.
Site no. A2: Shieling Huts. At the furthest NW of the grassy green area straddling the burn is a rectangular structure, 3m by 2.3m. 35m from this, SE up the burn, is a round-ended rectangular building aligned NNW-SSE, measuring 5.3m by 2.5m, with a entrance in its ENE wall. ESE of this by 8m, slightly back from the burn in the bracken, is a circular storage structure. <1>
