Full Description
A rapid walk-over survey of a proposed Woodland Grant Scheme application at North Applecross, Wester Ross, was undertaken by C. Dagg.
Site no. F5: Dyke. Where the dyke meets the lochshore it extends into the water for a further 6.7m but now only just above water level. The dyke follows the east bank of the burn draining from Loch na Creige, then turns NE to run down to site F6.<1>
NGR adjusted based on 2009 vertical aerial photographs. <2>
Note; the dyke is visible on aerial photographs continuing further north east. (TB 20/6/25)
