Full Description
A rapid walk-over survey of a proposed Woodland Grant Scheme application at North Applecross, Wester Ross, was undertaken by C. Dagg.
Site no. K3: Storage Structure. Where a small bum flows northwards into Loch na h'Airighe Bige, about 30m from the water's edge, is a substantial structure, horse-shoe shaped and making use of a large natural boulder at its back. This structure, open to the NE, measures 3.2m by 3.6m and has 3 courses of stones still standing to a height of 0.5m. Attached to this is a curving annexe extending a further 1.8m NW but only one course of stones. <1>

Note; there is an error in the recorded grid reference as structure is due north of the report NGR and matches the description in the report. (TB 18/6/25)
