Full Description

Remains of a small sub-rectangular enclosure near the Morvich Burn. The site is visible in vertical aerial photographs taken between 2004 ('Millennium Map' series) and 2020, with those taken in 2004 showing the site best. It measures c.28m x 26m and there is a short length of dyke heading northwestwards from its northwest corner and possibly a small structure abutting its southeast corner. The dyke may continue further but it is obscured by vegetation. It is not shown on historic OS mapping, but it may have been an outlying part of the adjacent township. <1> <2> <3>
