Full Description

An enclosure and cultivation remains at Coulnabottach, Urchany. It was not recoded during a survey by the North of Scotland Archaeological Society (NoSAS) during an archaeological survey of Urchany in 2015. It lies to the northwest of the Coulnabottach farmstead (see MHG62155) and is visible in vertical aerial photography taken in 2009 and 2015. It is sub-rectangular with its enclosing dyke well preserved on its east, west and northern sides. It measures c.75m x 67m. There are vague traces of rig cultivation within. <1> <2>
