Full Description
A rapid walk-over survey was conducted over an area affected by the proposed Woodland Grant Scheme at Little Assynt by C. Dagg in 1999.
Site no. 27: Terminal of turf dyke. From the SE bank of Loch Uidh na Geadaig a turf dyke can be followed for distance of 5m. It presumably originally kept to the higher ground above the Blar nam Fear Mora, possibly joining the dykes marked on the map by the River Inver but now obliterated by the construction of the new section of road.<1>
NGR adjusted based on 1999-2001 vertical aerial photographs. <2>
