A rapid walk-over survey was conducted over an area affected by the proposed Woodland Grant Scheme at Little Assynt by C. Dagg in 1999.

Site no. 14: Dykes. The short stretch of burn connecting Loch Doirean Rairidh and Loch Gleannan a'Choit is cut off on both sides by turf dykes which extend into the water. This is most likely a stock management feature.<1>
