Full Description
A rapid walk-over survey was conducted over an area affected by the proposed Woodland Grant Scheme at Little Assynt by C. Dagg in 1999.
Site no. 1: Walling on river bank. Where the burn connecting the two lochans fragments into shallow channels, a 6m. length of low walling on the south bank, with stones protruding into the water obliquely from both banks, representing the remains of a dam or barrier. This is most likely a stock management feature. <1>
