Full Description
An enclosure to the east of the River Strathy. It is not shown on any historic OS mapping but is visible as a roughly triangular dyked feature in vertical aerial photography taken between 2004 ('Millenniun Map' series) and 2023, with those taken in 2009 showing the feature best. Outside its southern end lies what appears to be a hut circle (see MHG64171), which may be earlier as the enclosure bank may either run through the possible hut circle or incorporate it, with vegetation growth making it difficult to tell either way. <1> <2>
