Full Description
A walkover survey was carried out by Cannich Archaeological Services in 1999 of parts of the RSPB reserve at Corrimony prior to tree-planting.
Section 5, Site 18: Mound. Situated immediately west of the single-strand electric fence running along the slope in the area between the road and the river.
4 m NE - SW x 2.5 m. Height 50 cm. No stones visible, and it is difficult to tell whether there are any under the thick heather cover ; it may be a mound of peat or turf (There is also an old ants' nest on part of it). <1>
