Full Description

The site of the former Mid Mills at Midmillls, Inverness. The mill complex and associated buildings are shown on the OS 1st Edition 25 inch map and labelled 'Mid Mills' (Flour). A long mill pond lay immediately to its south. By the OS 2nd Edition 25 inch map it is labelled (Disused) and the mill pond had been enlarged. Now largely demolished although the northern portion of the building which lay immediately to the east of the mill building would appear to have survived. Now in domestic use it may have originally been part of the miller's house. <1> <2>
