Full Description

An enclosed field and rig to the northeast of Prabost, Skye between the A87 and the B8036 roads. The site consists of a single field enclosed by boundary banks and a burn on its northestern side containing the remains of rig cultivation. A possible hut circle (see MHG64099) lies on its western side. The site is shown on the OS 1st Edition map and is visible in vertical aerial photography taken from 2005 (as part of the 'Millennium Map' series) to 2020. It appears to be linked to the field system of the nearby settlement of Prabost to the southwest by a further length of dyke. <1> <2> <3>
