Full Description

A desk-based assessment and rapid walkover survey was conducted in connection with a proposed native pinewood scheme at Auchterteang by J. Wordsworth in 1996.

Site 4: A rectangular stone footing was noted here marking a building measuring 10m by 4m and aligned E/W with walls 0.7m thick. It lies to the east of a former field. This building was not recorded on the earlier OS maps. <1>
