Full Description

A desk-based assessment and rapid walkover survey was conducted in connection with a proposed native pinewood scheme at Auchterteang by J. Wordsworth in 1996.

Site 3.3: 11m east of the longhouse is another building measuring 7m by 4m and aligned more north/south. The walls are fomed from large boulders and also survive only one course high. It too was shown as roofed in 1871. <1>
