Full Description
A desk-based assessment and rapid walkover survey was conducted in connection with a proposed native pinewood scheme at Auchterteang by J. Wordsworth in 1996.
Site 3.2: The foundations of a substantial longhouse 17m by 5m lie just to the east of the enclosure. The walls, 0.65m wide, survive only one course high. This building was shown as roofed in 1871 and unroofed by 1902. <1>
