Full Description

An area of six rectangular concrete bases with a long, narrow air raid shelter and a smaller rectangular building to the south of the air raid shelter at their east end to the northeast of Balnagall. They are presumably related to the former Tain Accomodation area to the north on the opposite side of the road and may have been accomodation/barrack blocks. They are visible on vertical aerial photographs taken in 2005 (part of the 'Millennium Map' series) and those taken subsequently. <1>

At some point between 2018 and 2021 all of the bases and the the smaller building to the immediate south of the air raid shelter were removed. <2> <3>
