Full Description

A desk-based assessment and rapid walkover survey was conducted in connection with a proposed native pinewood scheme at Auchterteang by J. Wordsworth in 1996.

Site 2: The foundations of a round ended building 9m by 3m and aligned approximately ENE/WSW are sited asshown on Fig 2. It has been partially damaged by rabbit burrows on its west end and there may have been some stone robbing on its south side.It was probably turf walled over this stone footing. <1>
