Full Description
A C19 building at Galmisdale, Eigg, one of three near the current Galmisdale farmhouse recorded by RCAHMS in 2002. See MHG64060 and MHG64061 for the other two.
Three ruinous structures stand to the E and S of the Galmisdale farmhouse. The largest (EIGG01 482) is located 28m S of the farmhouse and measures 9.8m from NW to SE by 3.2m transversely within faced rubble walls 0.9m in thickness and 1.1m in height. There is an entrance in the NE side and a modern shed attached at the SE. Visited by RCAHMS (AGCH) 11 October 2002
The feature is visible in vertical aerial photography taken in 2020. <1>
