Full Description

The enclosures of a possible farmstead to the west of Borgie Forest, possibly dating to different phases. The features are visible in vertical aerial photography taken from 1999-2023. The enclosures comprise an outer dyke, appearing of more substantial construction, of a rough diamond shape and an inner, less substantial, oval shaped dyke oriented northwest-southeast. A circular sheep fold (see MHG32647) is located in the projected southeast end of the inner enclosure. There is a small area of rig or lazy beds at the northeast end of the inner enclosure. <1>
