An enclosure is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Sutherland 1878, sheet lviii). Two unroofed structures and some walls are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10,000 map (1971).
Information from RCAHMS (SAH) 19 October 1995
Historic Assynt surveyed this site in April 2016.
Just north of the fank, a trackway leads beyond the enclosure to a small house (B) and various fragments of associated walling. 6.9m north-south and 3.6m east-west with a central doorway and remains of a possible window to it's north in the east wall. It is built of coursed stone with clay mortar and is probably mid 19th century. There is no fireplace and the floor is lower to the south with a possible east-west drain. So perhaps a small byre-house. <1>
NGR adjusted based on 2009 vertical aerial photographs. <2>
