Full Description

Historic Assynt visited this site in March 2016.

Structure of uncertain use. Small sub rectangular enclosure (10m long N-S and 5.80 across but narrowing sharply at north end which is open. Single face walls to south and east and built against a rock face to the west. Within an unenclosed area of rough pasture on Leathad nan Aighan which may have been used as a shieling at some point. There are hints of possible hut foundations below the structure closer to the shore of the Loch of the same name. <1>
