Full Description

Remains of a small settlement on the east side of the A87 and west of the River Leasgeary to the northwest of Portree, Skye. The site is visible on vertical aerial photographs taken between 2005 (as part of the 'Millennium Map' series) and 2023. It consists of a cluster of approximately 14 buildings, though there may be more especially to the south, with an additional outlier c. 34m to the northwest. They range in size from c.5m to 8m in length and most appear to be round-ended. They are not shown on any historic OS mapping, nor is a placename indicated. <1> <2> <3>
