Full Description

Historic Assynt visited this site in May 2016.

Building etc: A rectangular bothy or other structure aligned east - west with rounded corners it measures 9.9m x 3.1m internally with a possible doorway in its south wall. Its walls are 1.2m thick. Adjoining its west end a structure 2.5m square internally. A few metres to the south west a mound of limestone and to its west an excavated hollow together with vague signs of enclosures and possible other features. <1>

Note; Building and associated features very likely to be associated with nearby marble/limestone quarry (MHG63982) (TB 5/3/25)
