Full Description
A possible structure at Loch na Garbh Uidhe, Assynt.
A possible structure was recorded by C Dagg in 2002 during a survey undertaken in advance of a proposed woodland creation scheme. Site 6: Structure? At NC 1636 2500 stones visible under the bracken appear to form a line, possibly a continuation of the dyke, (Site no.5 - see MHG63963) or possibly a separate structure. These would require further investigation in winter when the bracken has died back. <1>
The feature cannot be seen on available vertical aerial photographs [IS-L 24/02/2025].
