Full Description
A length of rubble dyke at Loch na Garbh Uidhe, Assynt.
The dyke was recorded by C Dagg in 2002 during a survey undertaken in advance of a proposed woodland creation scheme. Site 4: Rubble Dyke at NC 1638 2508. The traces of a rubble dyke which presumably originally prevented livestock from gaining access to the crossing point of the Garbh Uidh. <1>
The approximate (and partly assumed) line of the dyke can be seen on vertical aerial photographs taken in 2009. <2>
