A walkover survey was undertaken at Strathglass and Strathfarrar by R. Spencer-Jones and S. North of NoSAS between 2021 and 2024

Site S01: Well defined shieling, 6 x 3.5m, with low grassy walls up to 30cms. Orientated NE-SW with probable entrance in south. NH 38163 42804 (NH38152 42811-2023 Aps)

Site S02: Ill-defined base of a building, 4 x 3m, on a raised platform and possibly a shieling. NH 38189 42822 (NH38176 42828-2023 Aps)

Site S03: Small shieling, 3 x 2m, orientated east-west with entrance to south. NH 38077 42807 (NH38065 42815-2023 Aps)

Site S04: Low walls, 4 x 2.5m covered in bracken. NH 38045 42799 (NH38030 42807-2023 Aps)

Site 23/15 Dairy: Flask-shaped structure, 3 x 2m, with heather-topped earthen walls and opening of flask in southeast just west of Shieling 4. NH 38039 42796 (NH38025 42805-2023 Aps)

Site S05: Possible shieling, 4 x 3m. NH 38073 42794 (NH38060 42803-2023 Aps)

Site S06: Low grass-covered walls, 3 x 2m with NE-SW orientation. NH 38083 42769 (NH38071 42779-2023 Aps)

Site 23/18 Enclosure: Stone walls, 5.5 x 4.5m and up to 0.6m high enclose a slightly oval shape and orientated east-west. NH 38111 42783 (NH38102 42788 -2023 Aps)
