Full Description
Remains of a building and enclosure, a possible mill, at Langwell, Berriedale. The features are visible as earthworks in vertical aerial photographs taken in 2009. The possible building measures c.9m x 4m and is abutted to the southeast by a square enclosure and to the northwest by a sub-oval or triangular enclosure. Immediately adjacent tto the northeast end of the possible building is a former channel of Berriedale Water and there are possible slight indications of a further channel or lade. The building may have been a watermill. <1>
