Full Description
A walkover survey was undertaken at Strathglass and Strathfarrar by Roland Spencer-Jones and Steve North of NoSAS between 2021 and 2024.
Shieling settlement:
Site S21. On edge of field with sites S21-25, just above burn with low turf walls of maybe previous shieling. Wall more prominent west end and parallel to and close to S28.
Site S22. On edge of field with sites S21-25, just above burn with low turf walls of maybe previous shieling. Wall more prominent west end and parallel to and close to S27.

The huts are visible in vertical aerial photography. <2>
The huts are visible in Scot Gov/SEPA LiDAR data and towards the northern end of a large group of similar structures within dyked enclosures (see MHG66478). <3>
