Full Description
A walkover survey was undertaken at Strathglass and Strathfarrar by R. Spencer-Jones and S. North of NoSAS between 2021 and 2024.
Shieling huts:
Site 24/18, NH 38210 41780 GPS, NH38204 41786 (Approximate position from LiDAR.) Prominent structure, with stone-based walls 0.8m high.
Site 24/19, NH 38195 41778 GPS, NH38187 41783 (Approximate position from LiDAR.) Low turf walls.
Site 24/20, NH 38190 41781 GPS, NH38183 41788 (Approximate position from LiDAR.) Low turf walls. <1>
