Full Description

A DBA and walkover survey of the route for the buried cable from the landing site at Sealky Head to the site of the Moray Firth Hub & Caithness HVDC Connection converter station at Spittal was carried out by ORCA in 2010.

Site No. 51: What may be a farmstead comprising two roofed structures appear on the 1st edition of the 6-inch map to the northeast of Spittal Quarries (Caithness 1877, sheet xviii) but only one is shown on the current edition of the OS 1: 25000 map (2007). <1>
