Full Description

An archaeological walkover survey of the proposed site for a hydro scheme at Uppat Estate, near Brora, Sutherland was undertaken by AOC in 2015..

Site 1: Possible building or pen. Built at the base of a SSW-facing hill are the remains of a grass-covered suboval structure. It comprises boulder/stone walls measuring 8.5m NW-SE by 5m over walls spread to 1.2m wide and up to 1m high. <1>
