Remains of two shieling huts at Coire Mheadhoin, Strathfarrar

Included in field survey by R Spencer-Jones in 2022 (Remains of two shieling huts at Coire Mheadhoin, Strathfarrar 14, 15). Shieling Buildings or Shieling Platforms. <1>

Site S14: An L-shaped building on a slight platform, orientated east-west. Entrance in south wall. The L-shape or outshot is attached to east end. From north wall, clockwise, 7.4, 6.1, 1.9, 2.5, 5.9, 3.6, Upright slab in centre, orientated north-south measuring 4.5 x 1.5 m.
Site S15: Shieling is in same alignment west of S14, 3m to west on a raised platform, orientated east-west with deficient west wall measuring 5.5 x 2.5m. <2>
