Full Description

This elongated cairn was surveyed by Ken and Jean Bowker in October 2013. It was situated 10.5 metres from a narrow shingle beach on turf and bracken covered ground a metre or so above the shore. The narrow end of the cairn pointed directly towards the open sea beyond the beach.
The cairn was 0.5m high (maximum), 6.5 metres long and 2.5m wide at its widest, with rounded ends, and had suffered minor surface damage from fallen branches from surrounding Scots Pines. It appeared to be built of stones, but was mostly grass-covered. <1>

GIS spatial data adjusted from GR of NM 6698 7770 to a location slightly north of this, to match the description and photos provided in the report which place it closer to a narrow coastal inlet.
