Full Description
NG25NE 16.25 2694 5537.
Apart from the reconstructed croft house, there are two buildings at either side of the S croft of Camuslusta. That to the S, a rectangular building, is situated immediately N of the reconstructed house on the foreshore and measures 6.7m from NNE-SSW by 3.4m transversely within rubble-faced walls 0.7m in thickness and 1.2m in height. The 1st and 2nd editions of the Ordnance Survey maps of 1880 and 1904 (Island of Skye &c., Inverness-shire, 1880, 1904, sheet xv), show a larger roofed building at this location, but the reconstructed house may occupy the site of the S end of the former building. The second building is situated at the N side of the croft, a short distance upslope from the foreshore. Unroofed on the 1st edition of the Ordnance Survey map (ibid), it measures 4.5m from NW to SE by 3.5m transversely within stony banks spread to 1.4m in thickness and 1.5m in height.
