Full Description
This fishtrap was photographed by RCAHMS during their aerial surveys in 2011. See link below to HES Canmore record. <1>
Although the features look reasonably convincing on the oblique aerial photographs taken by RCAHMS in 2011, their appearance and location change over time on vertical aerial photography taken between 2005 and 2023 and are not visible at all on those taken in 2023. They are more likely to have been lines of debris and seaweed created by wave action [IS-L 20/03/2026].
