Full Description
NG36NE 5 centred on 395 695.
(NG 395 695) Depopulated township of Feaull comprising about 20 houses and enclosures.
There are lazy-beds in evidence but the township would seem to be of improvements type as many of the enclosures overlie the lazy-beds. Visited by OS (C F W) 28 April 1961.
A crofting township comprising ten roofed, two partially roofed and eight unroofed buildings, and their associated enclosures is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire, Island of Skye 1880, sheet vi). Twenty unroofed buildings and their associated enclosures are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10560 map (1968).
