Centred 49 63.
A polished stone axe-head 9 3/4" long, 2 3/4" wide and 1 5/8" deep, was found on a croft at Marishadder, Staffin. The implement appears to be of Lewisian gneiss, which occurs on nearby Rona. Reported by F Houston. J G Scott 1961.
