Full Description

The site was visited and photographed by D Glass in September 2013. He described the site as:
"A millstone in an unfinished state, probably abandoned when part of the circumference broke off while it was being shaped. It is situated in an area where sandstone slabs are exposed and is likely to have been manufactured at the place where it still lies. The stone measures 116cm in diameter and is approximately 20cm in thickness. The central hole is 14cm in diameter." <1>
