Full Description

NG56SW 13 centred 508 645.

NG 508 645. A small 'stone circle' or kerb of a cairn 12ft across with stones up to 1ft 6ins high, was reported by Mr Dugald Ross in 1975 (Information from D Ross, 7 Ellishader, Staffin).
Information contained in letter from Dr J Close-Brooks (NMAS) to OS
27 March 1975, 16 April 1975 and a photograph 1 September 1975.

Six boulders, probably the kerb of a destroyed cairn, are embedded in peat forming an oval 4.65 x 3.75m. In the centre two stones appear to be the ends of a cist 1.40m long overall, while a thin slab between them may be a displaced capstone. No cairn material is visible.
