NG34NW 10 314 499

Contained within a loop of the Red Burn at a height of 65m OD is a group of 10 ruined shielings. They are of single, double, triple and multi-cell types, and all but one have been reduced to turf covered mounds with circular depressions in the top. The exception lies at the southern end of the group, and consists of a linear arrangement of three stone-built cells, there is no earth mound.
